　　Therearevariousactivitiesinmylife,suchashardstudying,hiking,gathering,competitionsandsoon.Andwhatimpressesmemostwasmyexperienceofbeingavolunteerteacherinthesummervacationofhighschool.Iwastoldwhatisresponsibilitybytheexperience.
　　WhenIhavenothingtodoathomeinthesummervacation,Iheardthattheschoolorganizedsomesummeractivities,thepeoplewhoparticipatedwouldreceiveadditionalpraiseforthefinalgrade.IcametoschoolandfoundtherewereenoughstudentstooccupytheactivitiesexceptvolunteerteacherwhichaimedatprovidingchildreninpoorareaswithanEnglisheducation.Asamatteroffact,Ididnotshowanyinterestinthisactivity,forIthoughtthatIjustwastedmytimeandenergy,theactivitieswereashowtofindsomereasontoaddpointsforsomeperson.Fortunately,thetargetwasnotfarfrommyhomeandtheteachingtimewasshort,justoneweek.IthoughtmyEnglishwasprettygoodsoIenrolledasamemberoftheteachinggroup.AsmyfirsttimetoteachothersEnglishintheclass,IbecamequiteexcitedandmadeupmymindtopreparefortheclassaswellasIcould.Becausetheteachingtimewasveryshort,Icannotteachallthesectionofthetextbook,Ihavetochoosesomeclassicsectionstotell.Ireadtheallthesectionsofthetextbookthreetimesandchoosesevenarticles.What＂smore,inordertopreparethelessons,IsearchedontheInternetforsomeadditionalinformationwhichcouldmakethelessonseasilyunderstand.
　　Quickly,myfirstlessonwascoming,therewere50studentscrowinginasmallclassroom.Tomysurprise,theatmosphereintheclassroomdidnotaswarmasIthought.Mostofthestudents＂listeningwaspoor,andtheirspokenwereworsethantheirlistening.TheywereveryshyanddidnothaveenoughconfidencetoexpresstheirviewbyEnglish.Fortunately,IhadpreparedanumberofPPTwhichwasaboutanimatedcharacters,andthestudentslovedit.IallowedthemspeakEnglishwithChinesewords,sothestudentsbegantoexchangeupslowlyandhappily.Inthefollowinglessons,Iusedthesamemethodforteachingandachievedgoodresults.Afterallthelessons,studentsslowlydaredtoopentheirmouthtospeakEnglish.
　　Ireallybenefitalotfromtheunforgettableexperience.IdidnotexpectIhadbroughtsomuchhelpstoothersinadvance,andaftertheteachingexperience,Ifoundthattherearealotofpeoplearoundwhofacedvariousdifficulties,whichwereeasyforus.Ifwecanhelpthemactively,theirlivescouldbeeasier.Itistheself-realizationthatreallymakesourlifemeaningful.Alsoitistheresponsibilitytohelpotherstomakethesocietyharmonious.

　　在我的生活中有很多经历，如刻苦学习，远足历游，搜集，比赛等。而给我印象最深的是那次高中暑假，我成为一名志愿者老师的暑期活动。让我知道了什么是责任。
　　那年暑假我在家很无聊，没什么事做。听说学校组织一些暑期活动，参加者会受到额外的奖励，并计入期末最终考评。于是我便来到学校，发现报名的学生已经很多了，除了为贫困地区的孩子做英语老师志愿者之外，其他的活动都满员了。事实上，我对这些活动也没有任何兴趣，因为我觉得这只是浪费时间和精力。这些活动只是一场秀，给某些人加分而已。不过幸运的是，支教目的地离我家不远，教学时间也很短，只有一个星期。我想我的英语很不错，所以加入该教学组。由于我第一次在课堂上教别人英语，我变得很兴奋，决心要尽我所能，为上课做好准备。由于教学时间很短，我不能教课本所有内容，需要选择一些经典的部分来教。我把教科书通读了三次，然后选择7篇文章。而且，为了备课，我在互联网上搜索一些其他的内容，使课程更容易理解。
　　很快，我的第一次课来了，一个小教室里面挤着50名学生。出乎我的意料，课堂上的气氛并没有像我想象的活跃。大多数学生的听力比较差，而他们的口语比听力更差。而且他们都非常害羞，没有足够的信心通过英语来表达自己的观点。好在我已经准备了许多的PPT，这些PPT中都是一些动画人物，同学们喜欢它。我让他们讲夹杂着中文的英语，所以学生们开始慢慢的交流起来。在后面的课上，我用同样的方法进行教学，取得了良好的效果。经过所有的课程后，学生们慢慢的敢开口说英语。
　　我从这次令人难忘的经历中获益良多。我之前并没有想到我能给别人带来这么多帮助。我发现周围有很多人会遇到各种各样的困难，但这些困难对于我们是很容易做到的。如果我们能积极地帮助他们，他们的生活可以更容易一些。帮助他人是自我价值的实现，真正使我们的生活更有意义。此外，我们有责任帮助他人，使社会和谐。
　　我认为责任是一个小种子，一旦它在我们脑海里播种，随着时间的推移，它会生根，发芽和长大。所以，如果我幸运地进入了密歇根州立大学，我会尽自己的责任帮助更多的人。也许我会组织一些同学到中国作为英语老师志愿者。
